They are to be commended for their efforts and are appreciated by Habitat for Humanity of Hendricks County for all of their dedicated service.
Board of Directors
The first and most important volunteer source is the Habitat Board of Directors. These individuals meet on a monthly basis and guide the Executive Director and staff to carry out Habitat for Humanity’s mission. Our board members are not paid for their service; they give of their time and talents by governing our Habitat affiliate. The board of directors at Habitat for Humanity of Hendricks County is comprised of people from many different professions and have special knowledge regarding our community. Our board of directors is responsible for reviewing and selecting our partner families as well as drafting the annual budget. They also serve on committees that further Habitat’s operation in important ways. We are always looking for new board members who are willing to meet the specific needs of the organization within their own area of expertise.
Construction Volunteers
