- Bill Kirchoff, Habitat Thursday Crew FounderWe started the Wednesday Habitat construction crew back in 2005 because I had a friend in the South who was doing the same thing with a bunch of his retired friends. We keep coming back week after week, year after year for the camaraderie. Even more important, though, is the families – when you go to a Habitat home dedication, there isn’t a dry eye in the house.
