Mitchell House Dedication
PLAINFIELD CHRISTIAN CHURCH AND HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF HENDRICKS COUNTY TO HOLD DEDICATION CEREMONY FOR NEWLY-BUILT HOME
Plainfield Christian Church and Habitat for Humanity of Hendricks County will be holding a house dedication at 3406 Campbell Street in Plainfield on Saturday, July 9 at 4:00 p.m. The new homeowners are the Mitchell family, which includes: Beth Mitchell and her son, Nicholas Weatherford. This home was built by Plainfield Christian Church, with the church funding the project and providing most of the volunteer laborers. The project was unique because the home was built by the church, for one of its own church members. Mitchell not only belongs to Plainfield Christian Church; she also works there as a custodian.
Women's Build
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF HENDRICKS COUNTY TO HOLD WOMEN'S BUILD.
A women's construction week will be held on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of Hendricks County May 2 through May 7 in Plainfield, IN. This annual event draws women from the entire county to help build an affordable home with a family in need.
IU Health Panel Build 2011
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF HENDRICKS COUNTY AND INDIANA UNIVERSITY HEALTH WEST HOSPITAL JOIN TOGETHER TO BUILD PANELS FOR HOME
Habitat for Humanity of Hendricks County, in partnership with Indiana University Health West Hospital, will be holding a "panel build" on Saturday, June 11 in the parking lot of IU Health West on Ronald Reagan Parkway in Avon. A panel build is the first phase of the Habitat construction process and is mainly accomplished by volunteers. In addition to providing the volunteer labor through its employees' participation, IU Health West is also donating funds for the purchase of the home's lumber package.
