Each county Habitat affiliate is independently run and must raise all of its funds from local sources. This includes churches, civic groups, corporations, and individuals who give. Habitat International does not disburse funds to us. In fact, the Hendricks County Habitat provides our International organization with 10% of all the funds we raise to help build homes in Central America. That is why when people donate to Habitat for Humanity of Hendricks County they are not only building a home in their local community, but across the globe.
