Each county Habitat affiliate is independently run and must raise all of its funds from local sources. This includes churches, civic groups, corporations, and individuals who give. We build an average of four homes a year in Hendricks County. We would like to do so much more, but are limited by the lack of funding. The need for affordable housing is a reality in Hendricks County. It is ranked as the second most important need for those families seeking assistance. When a family becomes a partner family of Habitat for Humanity of Hendricks County, they fulfill a dream of home ownership that they could not otherwise afford.
