Annual Events

Public Relations: The Hendricks county Habitat affiliate depends heavily on Churches, Businesses, Civic Groups, and Individuals for financial and volunteer support to fulfill the mission. Habitat work is often featured in the local print media at least four times a year. We are currently working with a local radio station to help cover many of our public events.  Our affiliate offers work-camp opportunities for groups who want to come and stay for a week or week-end, and work on special projects.  The various construction events are not the only public outreach that Habitat is involved with.  Some of these are:

• Annual Banquet Bike Tour Do-It-Best Trade Show
• Yard Sales  Car Show Golf Tournament
• Hendricks Co. Fair Festivals The Big Green Give
• Disaster Relief  Concerts Thanksgiving Banquet

Each of these public events offers opportunity for sponsorship of the event in partnership with Habitat.  Sponsors of public events are promoted at the event and in the local print media whenever possible.
